Noted That:

  • To install correctly this 404-notifier.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the 404-notifier.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open 404-notifier.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside 404-notifier.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " 404-notifier.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " 404-notifier.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded 404-notifier.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " 404 Notifier " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " 404 Notifier " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " 404 Notifier " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " 404 Notifier " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is 404 Notifier
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide
  1. Download the plugin archive and expand it (you’ve likely already done this).
  2. Upload the 404-notifier.php file to your wp-content/plugins directory (not in a sub-folder).
  3. Go to the Plugins page in your WordPress Administration area and click ‘Activate’ for 404 Notifier. This will create the 404 log table for you.
  4. Optional: Configure your 404 Notifier options and get the RSS feed URL by going to Options > 404 Notifier in the WP Admin area.
  5. Optional: Subscribe to the 404 Notifier RSS feed (link on the options page).
