A field for Advanced Custom Fields which allows users to select a list of created custom fields Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this acf-field-selector-field.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the acf-field-selector-field.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open acf-field-selector-field.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside acf-field-selector-field.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " acf-field-selector-field.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " acf-field-selector-field.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded acf-field-selector-field.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " ACF: Field Selector " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " ACF: Field Selector " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " ACF: Field Selector " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  ACF: Field Selector Configurtions and Settings or How to work " ACF: Field Selector " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " ACF: Field Selector " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is ACF: Field Selector
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Automatic Installation

Installing this plugin automatically is the easiest option. You can install the plugin automatically by going to the plugins section in WordPress and clicking Add New. Type “ACF Field Selector” in the search bar and install the plugin by clicking the Install Now button.

Manual Installation

  1. Copy the acf-field-selector-field folder into your wp-content/plugins folder
  2. Activate the Google Field Selector plugin via the plugins admin page
  3. Create a new field via ACF and select the Role Selector type
  4. Please refer to the description for more info regarding the field type settings

For Developers

For developers I’ve included a filter which allows you to further filter selected fields. At the moment this filter is used to make sure that included and excluded types and groups are reflected in the selectable list.

The first parameter is the list of items to modify, the second is the setting field.
