Add custom CSS to style the WordPress Admin. Works with Multisites. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this admin-css-mu.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the admin-css-mu.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open admin-css-mu.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside admin-css-mu.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " admin-css-mu.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " admin-css-mu.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded admin-css-mu.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Admin CSS MU " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Admin CSS MU " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Admin CSS MU " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Admin CSS MU Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Admin CSS MU " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Admin CSS MU " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Admin CSS MU
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

To use as a normal plugin in WordPress single install and Multisite.

  1. Install the plugin through the WordPress admin interface, or upload the folder /admin-css-mu/ to /wp-content/plugins/ using ftp.
  2. Activate the plugin via WordPress admin interface. If it is a Multisite, Network Activate it.
  3. Go to WordPress Admin > Appearance > Admin CSS MU and add the custom CSS you want.
  4. For Multisites, the settings page will be in the Appearance > Admin CSS MU of the main site. Only network admins can add/edit CSS.
