This plugin allows ARS clients to easily add Sell My Car and Donate My Car content to their wordpress site via shortcodes. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this ars-affiliate-page.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the ars-affiliate-page.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open ars-affiliate-page.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside ars-affiliate-page.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " ars-affiliate-page.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " ars-affiliate-page.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded ars-affiliate-page.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " ARS Affiliate Page Plugin " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " ARS Affiliate Page Plugin " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " ARS Affiliate Page Plugin " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  ARS Affiliate Page Plugin Configurtions and Settings or How to work " ARS Affiliate Page Plugin " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " ARS Affiliate Page Plugin " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is ARS Affiliate Page Plugin
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Plugin Setup (Settings > ARS Affiliate Settings)

  1. Enter the Affiliate Code and Reference Code as provided by ARS
  2. Enter Sell Page Text
    • This text will be displayed above the links on the Sell My Car page
    • Simple HTML tags are allowed
    • ARS provides boilerplate Sell Page Text . Adjust, if necessary, for SEO purposes
  3. Enter Donate Page Text
    • This text will be displayed above the links on the Donate My Car page
    • Simple HTML tags are allowed
    • ARS provides boilerplate Donate Page Text . Adjust, if necessary, for SEO purposes
  4. Enter the following URL for Donate Page Text : /donate-my-car/
    • This is the URL for your donate car page. The above URL must match the URL for the donate page you create below

Sell My Car Page
1. Create a new page named: Sell My Car
2. Add the Sell My Car shortcode to the page: [sell_my_car]

Donate My Car Page
1. Create a new page named: Donate My Car
2. Add the Donate My Car shortcode to the page: [donate_my_car]
