How to add Attachment Taxonomies in Wordpress

• To install correctly this attachment-taxonomies.zip .
• Fisrt Download the attachment-taxonomies.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open attachment-taxonomies.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside attachment-taxonomies.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " attachment-taxonomies.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " attachment-taxonomies.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " attachment-taxonomies.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Attachment Taxonomies " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Attachment Taxonomies " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Attachment Taxonomies " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Attachment Taxonomies " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Attachment Taxonomies
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

As a regular plugin

1. Upload the entire attachment-taxonomies folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory or download it through the WordPress backend.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

As a must-use plugin

If you don’t know what a must-use plugin is, you might wanna read its introduction in the WordPress Codex – don’t worry, that’s nothing purely for developers.

1. Upload the entire attachment-taxonomies folder to the /wp-content/mu-plugins/ directory (create the directory if it doesn’t exist).
2. Move the file /wp-content/mu-plugins/attachment-taxonomies/attachment-taxonomies.php out of its directory to /wp-content/mu-plugins/attachment-taxonomies.php .

Note that, while must-use plugins have the advantage that they cannot be disabled from the admin area, they cannot be updated through WordPress, so you’re recommended to keep them up to date manually.

Administration

Once the plugin is activated, you will see two new submenu items under Media (Categories and Tags). The plugin follows the WordPress Core philosophy “Decisions, not Options” – therefore there is no additional settings screen. However, the plugin is easily extendable and adjustable by developers (see FAQ ). So if the base configuration does not suit your needs, it shouldn’t be too hard to change that.
