How to add Awesome Timeline in Wordpress

• To install correctly this awesome-timeline.zip .
• Fisrt Download the awesome-timeline.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open awesome-timeline.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside awesome-timeline.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " awesome-timeline.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " awesome-timeline.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " awesome-timeline.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Awesome Timeline " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Awesome Timeline " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Awesome Timeline " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

Step-8 : Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about Awesome Timeline Configurations and Settings or How to work " Awesome Timeline " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Awesome WordPress Timeline Plugin " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Awesome WordPress Timeline Plugin
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

IMPORTANT

Please backup your WordPress database before you install/uninstall/activate/deactivate/upgrade Awesome WordPress Timeline Plugin.

1. Upload the folder awesome-timeline with its contents to wp-content/plugins/

2. Activate the plugin.

3. Upon activation, you will notice “Awesome Timeline” on Left Hand Side panel.

4. Also, plugin will automatically create a post which will have a shortcode = [awesome-timeline] to display the timeline. But right now it wont display anything unless you do below steps.

5. Click on the “Awesome Timeline” link on Left Hand Side and go to “Add Announcement” menu to add your content. After you have added announcement, you can view them by clicking “All Announcement”.

6. Click on “Awesome Timeline” and go to “Timeline” menu and enter title of that timeline.

7. Configure all properties for a Timeline and publish it.

8. Once you publish it, you can grab the shortcode and place it on a new WordPress page/post or you can also view existing post created by plugin on step 4.

Using The WordPress Dashboard

1. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
2. Search for ‘awesome-timeline’
3. Click ‘Install Now’
4. Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard

Using FTP

1. Download awesome-timeline.zip
2. Extract the awesome-timeline directory to your computer
3. Upload the awesome-timeline directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
