Load more topics with ajax Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this bbpress-loadmore-topics.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the bbpress-loadmore-topics.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open bbpress-loadmore-topics.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside bbpress-loadmore-topics.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " bbpress-loadmore-topics.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " bbpress-loadmore-topics.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded bbpress-loadmore-topics.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " bbpress-loadmore-topics " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " bbpress-loadmore-topics " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " bbpress-loadmore-topics " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  bbpress-loadmore-topics Configurtions and Settings or How to work " bbpress-loadmore-topics " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " bbpress-loadmore-topics " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is bbpress-loadmore-topics
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Install the plugin like you’d install any wordpress plugin .

The plugin will automatically add a loadmore button at the bottom of topics list.

Important:- If you are updating from old version of this plugin, chances are you might get 2 ‘load more’ buttons.
In that case:

  1. You can either remove the function call from your template file(which you’d have done earlier)

  2. Or, you can put the following code in your functions.php

remove_action( "bbp_template_after_topics_loop", "bbpresslmt_loadmore_button" );

In case, ‘load more’ button is not added automatically, you can put following code in bbpress template file called loop-topics.php,

preferably inside

  • or

  • And of course, you should copy template files into your theme/child theme and then make changes. Instructions .

    If you want to add the button in a different place:

    1. Remove original button by adding following code in your theme’s functions.php file:
      remove_action( "bbp_template_after_topics_loop", "bbpresslmt_loadmore_button" );

    2. Add following code where you want the button to appear:
