How to add Blogchat Chat System in Wordpress

• To install correctly this blogchat-chat-system.zip .
• Fisrt Download the blogchat-chat-system.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open blogchat-chat-system.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside blogchat-chat-system.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " blogchat-chat-system.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " blogchat-chat-system.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " blogchat-chat-system.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Blogchat Chat System " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Blogchat Chat System " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Blogchat Chat System " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " BLOGCHAT Chat System " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is BLOGCHAT Chat System
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

1. Old-school: upload the BLOGCHAT folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory via FTP. Hipster: Add the BLGOCHAT Widget via the WordPress Plugins menu.
2. Activate the Plugin
3. Visit http://www.fastcatsoftware.com/chat/userguide/blogchat_for_wordpress.asp to finish the installation.
4. Visit http://www.fastcatsoftware.com/chat/activation.aspx to activate your chat account.
5. Navigate the the BLOGCHAT configuration page: Settings -> BLOGCHAT Settings and fill out the Chat ID and Host values you received during activation.
6. Rate the plugin and verify that it works at wordpress.org.
7. Leave a comment regarding bugs, feature request, cocktail recipes at http://www.fastcatsoftware.com

When you upgrade to a new version, any customizations you made to the chat will be erased. In order to save those changes, do the following:

1. Make backup copies of any files that you have altered. You may wish to make backups of the following folders: (fcchat/config, fcchat/languages, fcchat/styles, fcchat/html/config). Place them in a safe place where they will not be deleted.
2. Next uninstall the old version and install the current version.
3. Finally, manually copy the changes you made to the old files into the current version’s files. Do not replace the new files with the old files, as the structure of the new files may have changed; but instead, use the wordpress file editor to make the changes line by line.

Also, when you upgrade to a new version, it is NOT required that you obtain a new chat ID.
