Automatic mail bounce handling for MailPoet 3 to handle bounce emails easily when using your own SMTP server. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this bounce-handler-mailpoet.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the bounce-handler-mailpoet.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open bounce-handler-mailpoet.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside bounce-handler-mailpoet.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " bounce-handler-mailpoet.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " bounce-handler-mailpoet.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded bounce-handler-mailpoet.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Bounce Handler MailPoet 3 " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Bounce Handler MailPoet 3 " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Bounce Handler MailPoet 3 " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Bounce Handler MailPoet 3 Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Bounce Handler MailPoet 3 " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Bounce Handler MailPoet 3 " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Bounce Handler MailPoet 3
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

There are 3 ways to install this plugin:

1. The super easy way

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New
  2. Search for Bounce Handler MailPoet
  3. Click on “install now” under “Bounce Handler MailPoet”
  4. Activate the plugin
  5. A new Bounce Handling sub-menu will appear under the MailPoet menu in your WordPress dashboard

2. The easy way

  1. Download the plugin (.zip file) by using the blue “download” button underneath the plugin banner at the top
  2. In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New
  3. Click on “Upload Plugin”
  4. Upload the .zip file
  5. Activate the plugin
  6. A new Bounce Handling sub-menu will appear under the MailPoet menu in your WordPress dashboard

3. The old-fashioned and reliable way (FTP)

  1. Download the plugin (.zip file) by using the blue “download” button underneath the plugin banner at the top
  2. Extract the archive and then upload, via FTP, the bounce-handler-mailpoet folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder on your host
  3. Activate the plugin
  4. A new Bounce Handling sub-menu will appear under the MailPoet menu in your WordPress dashboard
