Add user editable widgets to the BP Nouveau group home page BP Legacy Home (Activity) pages with widgets for text, video, members, activity, comments, … Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this bp-group-home-widgets.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the bp-group-home-widgets.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open bp-group-home-widgets.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside bp-group-home-widgets.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " bp-group-home-widgets.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " bp-group-home-widgets.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded bp-group-home-widgets.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " BP Group Home Widgets " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " BP Group Home Widgets " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " BP Group Home Widgets " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  BP Group Home Widgets Configurtions and Settings or How to work " BP Group Home Widgets " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " BP Group Home Widgets " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is BP Group Home Widgets
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Option 1.

  1. From the Admin> > Plugins> > Add New page, search for BP Group Home Widgets.
  2. When you have located the plugin, click on “Install” and then “Activate”.
  3. Go to the Appearance/Widgets page and add the BP Group Home Widget to the BuddyPress group home widget area,
  4. All group admin will be able to go to their group home page and add their widgets!

With the zip file:

Option 2

  1. Upzip the plugin into it’s directory/file structure
  2. Upload BP Group Home Widgets structure to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin through the Admin> > Plugins menu.
  4. Go to the Appearance/Widgets page and add the BP Group Home Widget to the BuddyPress group home widget area,
  5. All group admin will be able to go to their group home page and add their widgets!

Option 3

  1. Go to Admin> > Plugins> > Add New> > Upload page.
  2. Select the zip file and choose upload.
  3. Activate the plugin.
  4. Go to the Appearance/Widgets page and add the BP Group Home Widget to the BuddyPress group home widget area,
  5. All group admin will be able to go to their group home page and add their widgets!
