  • How to add Bp Multi Network in Wordpress

Segregate your BP networks in a multi-network WP install.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this bp-multi-network.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the bp-multi-network.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open bp-multi-network.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside bp-multi-network.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "bp-multi-network.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "bp-multi-network.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded bp-multi-network.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "BP Multi Network" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "BP Multi Network" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "BP Multi Network" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "BP Multi Network" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is BP Multi Network
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide
  1. Upload bp-multi-network.php to /wp-content/mu-plugins.

  2. If you already have/had BP active on your sub networks:

    1. deactivate BuddyPress on your sub network(s).
    2. Edit your database and remove the bp- settings for the subnetwork from wp_sitemeta and wp_X_options where X is the blog ID of the main site in your sub network.

  3. If you are using the forum component see the (plugin page)http://wpmututorials.com/news/new-features/multiple-buddypress-social-networks/ for instructions on editing bb-config.php.

  4. Activate BuddyPress on your sub network.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for each sub network.
