How to add Buddypress Featured Members Widget in Wordpress

• To install correctly this buddypress-featured-members-widget.zip .
• Fisrt Download the buddypress-featured-members-widget.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open buddypress-featured-members-widget.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside buddypress-featured-members-widget.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " buddypress-featured-members-widget.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " buddypress-featured-members-widget.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " buddypress-featured-members-widget.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Buddypress Featured Members Widget " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Buddypress Featured Members Widget " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Buddypress Featured Members Widget " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Featured Member Widget " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Featured Member Widget
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Like all WP widgets, this widget is managed via the WPMU admin panel. Just download, unzip, and place it in your /plugins folder. However, as this is a BuddyPress-specific widget, it must be activated like other BP plugins. Widget installation is handled this way so that if BuddyPress is not activated, then this plugin widget will not be loaded, which could cause issues with your WP site. The widget does an internal check to see if BuddyPress is activated, if so then it continues loading. If not, it stops loading and will not be visible in the widget gallery. The widget is automatically activated sitewide so your other members will not see it in their plugins section if you’re running a multisite install.

Installation Instructions:

1. Upload the buddypress-featured-members-widget folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

2. Visit the WPMU admin panel and activate the plugin by visiting the plugins menu and clicking the “Activate” link for the Featured Members Widget plugin. It will automatically be activated sitewide. There is no need to click the Activate Site Wide link.

3. Navigate to “Appearance > Widgets” and drag the Featured Members Widget from the Available Widgets section to the Sidebar

4. Click the widget’s “Edit” button (the small grey triangle to the right of the widget’s name) to set the available widget parameters

5. You can change the widget’s outputted title and add members to be featured by entering their unique username (the name with which they registered), not their display name
