How to add Buddypress Sitemap Generator in Wordpress

• To install correctly this buddypress-sitemap-generator.zip .
• Fisrt Download the buddypress-sitemap-generator.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open buddypress-sitemap-generator.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside buddypress-sitemap-generator.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " buddypress-sitemap-generator.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " buddypress-sitemap-generator.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " buddypress-sitemap-generator.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Buddypress Sitemap Generator " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Buddypress Sitemap Generator " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Buddypress Sitemap Generator " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " BuddyPress Sitemap Generator " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is BuddyPress Sitemap Generator
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

1. Upload the full directory into your wp-content/plugins directory
2. Use your favorite FTP program to a file in your WordPress/Base directory (that’s where the wp-config.php is) named bp-sitemap.xml

Depending which BuddyPress components are activited – YOu may need to create the following as well:
* bp-sitemap-activity.xml & bp-sitemap-activity.xml.gz (all activity)
* bp-sitemap-members.xml & bp-sitemap-members.xml.gz (all members)
* bp-sitemap-members-f.xml & bp-sitemap-members-f.xml.gz (profile friends)
* bp-sitemap-members-g.xml & bp-sitemap-members-g.xml (profile groups)
* bp-sitemap-members-a.xml & bp-sitemap-members-a.xml (profile activity)
* bp-sitemap-members-x.xml & bp-sitemap-members-x.xml(xprofile)
* bp-sitemap-groups.xml & bp-sitemap-groups.xml(only public and private groups)
* bp-sitemap-groups-f.xml & bp-sitemap-groups-f.xml (forum topics for public groups)

and make them writable via CHMOD 666. More information about CHMOD and how to make files writable is available at the WordPress Codex and on stadtaus.com . Making your whole blog directory writable is NOT recommended anymore due to security reasons.

1. Activate the plugin at the plugin administration page
2. Open the plugin configuration page, which is located under Settings -> BuddyPress Sitemap and build the sitemap the first time. If you get a permission error, check the file permissions of the newly created files.
3. Currently – You will need to generate this sitemap manually for updated activity, members, groups, forum posts, etc.
