When you transfer your WP from one domain to another, you might want to update Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this change-header-image-url.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the change-header-image-url.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open change-header-image-url.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside change-header-image-url.zip and Open readme.txt .

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " change-header-image-url.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " change-header-image-url.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded change-header-image-url.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Change themehdr URL " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Change themehdr URL " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Change themehdr URL " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Change themehdr URL " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Change themehdr URL
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

  1. Upload the folder change-wp-url to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Backup your database. (Either get a plugin to do this, or do it with phpMyAdmin)
  4. Use this BEFORE you move your install to the new location: this should be the last thing you do before moving
  5. Plugin will figureout your curent domain and will propose new URL for
    header,background,background thumb URL
  6. Accept proposed URL’s or modify them as needed and update the DB
