Allows users to display their Company's LinkedIn updates with [shortcode] or PHP. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this company-updates-for-linkedin.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the company-updates-for-linkedin.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open company-updates-for-linkedin.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside company-updates-for-linkedin.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " company-updates-for-linkedin.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " company-updates-for-linkedin.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded company-updates-for-linkedin.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " LinkedIn Company Updates " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " LinkedIn Company Updates " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " LinkedIn Company Updates " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " LinkedIn Company Updates " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is LinkedIn Company Updates
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Installation & Activation

  1. Download plugin
  2. Unzip plugin on computer
  3. Add unzipped folder to /wp-content/plugins/

OR

  1. Go to your admin area and select Plugins -> Add new from the menu
  2. Search for “Company Updates for LinkedIn”
  3. Click install

  4. Activate the plugin in the ‘Plugins’ menu in the admin area

  5. Go to Tools -> ‘LinkedIn Company Updates’ to configure

Using the Plugin

  1. After installing “LinkedIn Company Updates”, go to developer.linkedin.com

  2. Click on “My Apps” & Sign in with your LinkedIn account. Create one if needed

  3. Click on “Create Application” & Fill out the required forms

  4. Copy the Client ID & Client secret to the plugin settings fields

  5. Then copy the redirect URL on the plugins settings page

  6. And paste under OAuth 2.0 Authentication redirect URLs then click “Add”

  7. Check “rw_company_admin” (Above the OAuth 2.0 field) and click update (at the bottom of the form)

  8. Add CSS classes for the feed container & items if you plan on custom design

  9. Add the company ID

  10. Save the plugin options

  11. Click “Regenerate Access Token”

  12. Enter LinkedIn information and click “Allow Access”

  13. Copy the shortcode from the bottom of the page & paste it into any page visual editor.
