A custom post type for choosing images and content which outputs Bootstrap Image Carousel (slider) from the [image-carousel] shortcode.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this cpt-bootstrap-carousel.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the cpt-bootstrap-carousel.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open cpt-bootstrap-carousel.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside cpt-bootstrap-carousel.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "cpt-bootstrap-carousel.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "cpt-bootstrap-carousel.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded cpt-bootstrap-carousel.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "CPT Bootstrap Carousel" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "CPT Bootstrap Carousel" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "CPT Bootstrap Carousel" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "CPT Bootstrap Carousel" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is CPT Bootstrap Carousel
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

The easy way

  1. Go to the Plugins Menu in WordPress
  2. Search for “CPT Bootstrap Carousel”
  3. Click ‘Install’
  4. Activate the plugin

Manual Installation

  1. Download the plugin file from this page and unzip the contents
  2. Upload the cpt-bootstrap-carousel folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  3. Activate the cpt-bootstrap-carousel plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

Once Activated

  1. Make sure that your theme is loading the Twitter Bootstrap CSS and Carousel javascript
  2. Place the [image-carousel] shortcode in a Page or Post
  3. Create new items in the Carousel post type, uploading a Featured Image for each.
    • (Optional) You can hyperlink each image by entering the desired url Image Link URL admin metabox when adding a new carousel image.
