Enables custom post type archives that will support both paging and feeds. All fully customizable. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this custom-post-type-archives.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the custom-post-type-archives.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open custom-post-type-archives.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside custom-post-type-archives.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " custom-post-type-archives.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " custom-post-type-archives.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded custom-post-type-archives.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Custom Post Type Archives " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Custom Post Type Archives " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Custom Post Type Archives " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Custom Post Type Archives Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Custom Post Type Archives " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Custom Post Type Archives " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Custom Post Type Archives
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Plugin installation is simple and fast.

  1. Put the downloaded .zip file extracted contents (directory called ‘custom-post-type-archives’) in wp-content/plugins directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to ‘Post Type Archives’ submenu under ‘Settings’ menu in WordPress admin section
  4. Check the checkboxes next to post type names to enable archives for them.
  5. Save the settings
  6. Visit ‘Permalinks’ submenu under ‘Settings’ menu in WordPress admin section
  7. Post type archives should now work for you – yeey ^_^

Note: if you left all the other options blank then post type archives will be accessible from URL ‘http://example.com/{POST_TYPE}’, where {POST_TYPE} is your post type slug (post type name thats safe for URL). Plugin will try to use {POST_TYPE}.php (from your theme root) to render the post type archive and if it won’t exist, then index.php (from your theme root) will be used.
