How to add Custom Post Type Archives in Wordpress

• To install correctly this custom-post-type-archives.zip .
• Fisrt Download the custom-post-type-archives.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open custom-post-type-archives.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside custom-post-type-archives.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " custom-post-type-archives.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " custom-post-type-archives.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " custom-post-type-archives.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Custom Post Type Archives " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Custom Post Type Archives " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Custom Post Type Archives " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Custom Post Type Archives " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Custom Post Type Archives
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Plugin installation is simple and fast.

1. Put the downloaded .zip file extracted contents (directory called ‘custom-post-type-archives’) in wp-content/plugins directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. Go to ‘Post Type Archives’ submenu under ‘Settings’ menu in WordPress admin section

Note: if you left all the other options blank then post type archives will be accessible from URL ‘http://example.com/{POST_TYPE}’, where {POST_TYPE} is your post type slug (post type name thats safe for URL). Plugin will try to use {POST_TYPE}.php (from your theme root) to render the post type archive and if it won’t exist, then index.php (from your theme root) will be used.
