How to add Dead Trees in Wordpress

• To install correctly this dead-trees.zip .
• Fisrt Download the dead-trees.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open dead-trees.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside dead-trees.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " dead-trees.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " dead-trees.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " dead-trees.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Dead Trees " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Dead Trees " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Dead Trees " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

Step-8 : Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about Dead Trees Configurations and Settings or How to work " Dead Trees " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " DeadTrees " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is DeadTrees
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

1. Install the Plugin

Either:

1. Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress admin.
2. Install DeadTrees by johnnyb (this plugin)
3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

OR:

1. Upload the folder deadtrees to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

1. Amazon Affiliate IDs
   Currently Dead Trees can auto-generate affiliate links to Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, and Amazon.co.uk so that your readers can purchase books that you recommend, and you can receive a commission on sales from Amazon. Sign up for an affiliate ID at http://affiliate-program.amazon.com, (or .ca, or .co.uk, or all 3). Once you’ve got your affiliate IDs enter them in Settings > Dead Trees in your WordPress admin.

2. Amazon API Credentials
   In order to grab a book’s cover art from Amazon you need access to Amazon’s Product Advertising API. It’s free, and you can tie it to your existing Amazon account. Go to http://affiliate-program.amazon.com and sign in to your affiliate account, then click the “Product Advertising API” tab at the top and follow the directions to sign up. Once you are set up with the Product Advertising API enter your Key ID and Secret Key in Settings > Dead Trees in your WordPress admin.

3. LibraryThing API Key
   The LibraryThing CoverThing API requires a free API key.

Getting a LibraryThing API Key

1. Sign Up for LibraryThing
2. Fill out the Get a Developer Key form on LibraryThing.
3. An API key will be E-mailed to you.
