Easily move posts from Google Docs to WordPress

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this docs-to-wordpress.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the docs-to-wordpress.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open docs-to-wordpress.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside docs-to-wordpress.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "docs-to-wordpress.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "docs-to-wordpress.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded docs-to-wordpress.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "Docs to WordPress" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "Docs to WordPress" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "Docs to WordPress" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about Docs to WordPress Configurtions and Settings or How to work "Docs to WordPress" in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "Docs to WordPress" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is Docs to WordPress
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide
  1. Upload docs-to-wordpress to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Create a Google App for your website.
  4. Enter Client ID and Client Secret into settings page.
  5. You should be redirected to a Google login page. Grant full permissions.
  6. If you wish, activate the extender plugin that removes formatting from Google Docs and removes comments, placing them in a separate meta box
  7. To run the plugin, you will need to either activate the included Cron Extender or put code in a separate file and point a cron job to it.

To run using WP CRON

Activate the cron extender.

To run using real cron

Create a file to run cron against, and put the following code in it:

startTransfer();

You will need to have a folder to draw the docs from and an optional folder to put the docs in after they’ve been processed.

First create the folder that you want to store unpublished docs in. This is your “Origin” folder. Next create the folder that you will move converted files to. This is the “Target” folder. If you’re using Cron, you’re going to want to write stories in a separate folder, and then move them to the Origin folder for publishing, when they’re ready.
