Essential Content Types allows you to feature the impressive content through different content/post types on your website just the way you want it.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this essential-content-types.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the essential-content-types.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open essential-content-types.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside essential-content-types.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "essential-content-types.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "essential-content-types.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded essential-content-types.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "Essential Content Types" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "Essential Content Types" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "Essential Content Types" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "Essential Content Types" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is Essential Content Types
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

The easy way (via Dashboard) :

  • Go to Plugins > Add New
  • Type in the Essential Content Types in Search Plugins box
  • Click Install Now to install the plugin
  • After Installation click activate to start using the Essential Content Types
  • Go to Essential Content Types from Dashboard menu
  • Use Shortcodes in your posts/pages/templates

Not so easy way (via FTP) :

  • Download the Essential Content Types
  • Unarchive Essential Content Types plugin
  • Copy folder with essential-content-types.zip
  • Open the ftp \wp-content\plugins\
  • Paste the plug-ins folder in the folder
  • Go to admin panel => open item “Plugins” => activate Essential Content Types
  • Go to Essential Content Types from Dashboard menu
  • Use Shortcodes in your posts/pages/templates
