Allows you to edit an external CSS file through WordPress dashboard. Wordpress Tutorial
Noted That:
  • To install correctly this external-css.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the external-css.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open external-css.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside external-css.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.
Start the Tips:

Step-1 : Download " external-css.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Go to Plugin Install External Css

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " external-css.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " external-css.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Activate External Css

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " External Css " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " External Css " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " External Css " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " External CSS " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is External CSS
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide
  1. Upload this directory to the ‘wp-content/plugins/’ directory
  2. Add the read and write permissions of ‘wp-content/uploads’ directory to the user of the web server
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  4. Open extenal CSS file editor through ‘Appearance’ -> ‘External CSS’ menu
  5. Edit the CSS file

Updating

External CSS version 0.2.0 and older versions have a bug that removes CSS file when updating the plugin.
To solve the problem, copy or rename wp-content/plugins/external-css/css/custom.css to wp-content/uploads/external-css/custom.css before trying to update the plugin.
