How to add Featured Post in Wordpress

• To install correctly this featured-post.zip .
• Fisrt Download the featured-post.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open featured-post.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside featured-post.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " featured-post.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " featured-post.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " featured-post.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Featured Post " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Featured Post " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Featured Post " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Featured Post " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Featured Post
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

1. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. Go to post list are then choose your featured post.
4. Put the code before the post loop starts where you want to showt he featured posts.
5. Put a widget on sidebar for listing featured post in unordered list
6. NOTE: ****Please just after the loop you have called the custom query don’t forget to add wp_reset_query(); after the loop, else you will have all other normal post loops showing the featured posts.
