How to add Foqus Engine in Wordpress

• To install correctly this foqus-engine.zip .
• Fisrt Download the foqus-engine.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open foqus-engine.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside foqus-engine.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " foqus-engine.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " foqus-engine.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " foqus-engine.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Foqus Engine " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Foqus Engine " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Foqus Engine " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

Step-8 : Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about Foqus Engine Configurations and Settings or How to work " Foqus Engine " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Foqus Engine " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Foqus Engine
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Foqus configuration steps:

1. Finish your installation by creating an account on https://customer.foqus.ai/en/signup/
2. Click on the activation link received by email
3. Copy the API Key that you get in the dashboard of https://customer.foqus.ai
4. Open the plugins tab in the menu of the admin page of your WordPress store, locate “Foqus Engine” and click “configure.”
5. In the “account” tab please enter the API KEY (step3).
6. In the “account” tab please enter the Project name. Please enter your domain name without extension. For example, for “fashion.com” put only “fashion”
7. You can choose between “widget” or “icon” to be displayed on your website.
8. Go to the “Search” section
9. You can choose how Foqus will appear. Either in “widget” mode or in “icon” mode.
10. For widget you can choose between “left” or “right” positions to display it on the wanted side on your website
11. For the “icon” mode you can manually select the position where you want it to appear on your forehead. Just click on “select identify” and then select the desired location. At the end click on “use” in the bottom left corner. Caution: This mode often requires CSS adjustment for fine tuning. You can choose whether to display Foqus as website element or a mobile friendly element.
12. Click on “Save Changes”
13. Click on “synchronization data”
14. You will receive an email telling you that the process has started
15. When the process finish, you will receive an email telling you that the process has finished
16. In the “cron” tab you can enable or disable cron synchronization. The crons allow to set up the scheduled automatic synchronization. Caution: It is impossible to guarantee the operation of the CRON. Often contact your developer to make sure it is set up.
17. Click on “Save Changes”
