• To install correctly this freshchat.zip .
• Fisrt Download the freshchat.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open freshchat.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside freshchat.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " freshchat.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " freshchat.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " freshchat.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Freshchat " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Freshchat " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Freshchat " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Freshchat " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Freshchat
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

For an automatic installation through WordPress:

1. Go to the ‘Add New’ plugins screen in your WordPress admin area.
2. Search for ‘Freshchat’ plugin.
3. Click ‘Install Now’ and activate the plugin.
4. Select Freshchat and choose Freshchat is Enabled option
5. Add the Freshchat widget code by logging in to your Freshchat account and copying the widget code from the Web Messenger Settings here
6. Hit Save Changes

Manual Installation:

1. Download the latest version of ‘Freshchat’ plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory.
2. Extract the zip and Upload the freshchat directory to your /wp-content/plugins directory
3. Go to the plugins management page and activate the plugin
4. You now have a new admin menu ‘Freshchat’ in your WordPress admin menu bar. Click on it and Configure your settings as mentioned in the info comments in the screen.
5. Select Freshchat and choose Freshchat is Enabled option
6. Add the Freshchat widget code by logging in to your Freshchat account and copying the widget code from the Web Messenger Settings here
7. Hit Save Changes
