How to add Genesis Featured Page Extras in Wordpress

Noted That:

• To install correctly this genesis-featured-page-extras.zip .
• Fisrt Download the genesis-featured-page-extras.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open genesis-featured-page-extras.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside genesis-featured-page-extras.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " genesis-featured-page-extras.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " genesis-featured-page-extras.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded genesis-featured-page-extras.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Genesis Featured Page Extras " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Genesis Featured Page Extras " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Genesis Featured Page Extras " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Genesis Featured Page Extras Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Genesis Featured Page Extras " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Genesis Featured Page Extras " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Genesis Featured Page Extras
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

NOTE: Only works with Genesis Framework version 2.0 or higher as the parent theme. This is a paid premium product by StudioPress/ Copyblogger Media LLC, available via studiopress.com.

Installation Steps

1. Installing alternatives:
   • via Admin Dashboard: Go to ‘Plugins > Add New’, search for “Genesis Featured Page Extras”, click “install”
   • OR via direct ZIP upload: Upload the ZIP package via ‘Plugins > Add New > Upload’ in your WP Admin
   • OR via FTP upload: Upload genesis-featured-page-extras folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. Go to the “Widgets” admin page and configure this widget’s options… ????

• Always recommended to run the latest versions of everything! ????
• WordPress version 3.6 or higher
• Genesis Framework version 2.0 or higher (Note: paid premium product!)
• A Genesis child theme – both variants, XTHML and HTML5 child themes are supported

Own translation/wording: For custom and update-secure language files please upload them to /wp-content/languages/genesis-featured-page-extras/ (just create this folder) – This enables you to use fully custom translations that won’t be overridden on plugin updates. Also, complete custom English wording is possible with that, just use a language file like genesis-featured-page-extras-en_US.mo/.po to achieve that (for creating one see the tools on “Other Notes”).
