Simple plugin that integrates Elementor Pro form widget with Gist via API.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this gist-for-elementor.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the gist-for-elementor.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open gist-for-elementor.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside gist-for-elementor.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "gist-for-elementor.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "gist-for-elementor.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded gist-for-elementor.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "Gist for Elementor" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "Gist for Elementor" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "Gist for Elementor" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "Gist for Elementor" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is Gist for Elementor
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide

Minimum Requirements

  • WordPress 4.7 or greater
  • PHP version 5.4 or greater
  • MySQL version 5.0 or greater
  • Elementor Pro 2.5 or greater

We recommend your host supports:

  • PHP version 7.0 or greater
  • MySQL version 5.6 or greater
  • WordPress Memory limit of 64 MB or greater (128 MB or higher is preferred)

Installation

  1. Install using the WordPress built-in Plugin installer, or Extract the zip file and drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to Pages > Add New
  4. Press the ‘Edit with Elementor’ button.
  5. Now you can drag and drop the form widget of Elementor Pro from the left panel onto the content area, and find the Gist action in the “Actions after submit” dropdown.
  6. Enter your Gist Workspace’s API Key which can be found under Settings > API Key.
  7. Enter tags that you want to apply to contacts who submit the form.
  8. Enter the field IDs for email and name fields. (Get these by clicking on Form field > Advanced option)
