How to add Google Site Kit in Wordpress

• To install correctly this google-site-kit.zip .
• Fisrt Download the google-site-kit.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open google-site-kit.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside google-site-kit.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " google-site-kit.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " google-site-kit.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " google-site-kit.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Google Site Kit " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Google Site Kit " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Google Site Kit " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

Step-8 : Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about Google Site Kit Configurations and Settings or How to work " Google Site Kit " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Site Kit by Google " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Site Kit by Google
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Note : Make sure that your website is live. If your website isn’t live yet, Site Kit can’t show you any data.
However, if you have a staging environment in addition to your production site, Site Kit can display data from your production site in the staging environment. Installation from within WordPress

1. Visit Plugins > Add New .
2. Search for Site Kit by Google .
3. Install and activate the Site Kit by Google plugin.
4. Connect Site Kit to your Google account. If there are multiple WordPress admins, keep in mind that each admin must connect their own Google account in order to access the plugin.

Manual installation

1. Upload the entire google-site-kit folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
2. Visit Plugins .
3. Activate the Site Kit by Google plugin.
4. Connect Site Kit to your Google account. If there are multiple WordPress admins, keep in mind that each admin must connect their own Google account in order to access the plugin.

After activation

1. Visit the new Site Kit menu.
2. Follow the instructions in the setup flow.
3. Go to the main Site Kit dashboard which already displays key metrics from Search Console.
