Add directory capabilities and other functionality to the great Gravity Forms plugin. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this gravity-forms-addons.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the gravity-forms-addons.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open gravity-forms-addons.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside gravity-forms-addons.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " gravity-forms-addons.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " gravity-forms-addons.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded gravity-forms-addons.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Gravity Forms Directory " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Gravity Forms Directory " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Gravity Forms Directory " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Gravity Forms Directory Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Gravity Forms Directory " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Gravity Forms Directory " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Gravity Forms Directory
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

  1. Upload this plugin to your blog and Activate it
  2. Set it up following instructions below:

To integrate a form with Directory:

  1. Go to the post or page where you would like to add the directory.
  2. Click the “Add Directory” button above the content area.
  3. Choose a form from the drop-down menu and configure settings as you would like them.
  4. Click “Insert Directory”. A “shortcode” should appear in the content editor that looks similar to [directory form="#"]
  5. Save the post or page

How do I select what columns I want to display in the Directory?

  1. Edit the Gravity Forms form you’d like to configure a Directory for
  2. Click “Directory Columns” In the Form Editor toolbar (near the top-center of the page)
  3. Drag & drop the fields in the order you’d like them to appear in the directory
    • Drag from the right (“Hidden Columns”) side to the left (“Visible Columns”) side.
  4. Click the “Save” button
  5. Voila!

More Configuring of Fields & Columns

When editing a form, click on a field to expand the field. Next, click the “Directory” tab. There, you will find options to:

  • Choose whether you would like the field to be a link to the Single Entry View;
  • Hide the field in Directory View; and
  • Hide the field in Single Entry View
