This plugin allows you to use $_COOKIE, $_SERVER, $_SESSION, $_GET, $_POST and $_REQUEST data in a Gravity Form through the merge tags of a field.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this gravity-forms-extended-merge-tags.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the gravity-forms-extended-merge-tags.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open gravity-forms-extended-merge-tags.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside gravity-forms-extended-merge-tags.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "gravity-forms-extended-merge-tags.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "gravity-forms-extended-merge-tags.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded gravity-forms-extended-merge-tags.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "Gravity Forms Extended Merge Tags" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "Gravity Forms Extended Merge Tags" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "Gravity Forms Extended Merge Tags" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "Gravity Forms Extended Merge Tags" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is Gravity Forms Extended Merge Tags
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

  1. Copy the plugin files to wp-content/plugins/

  2. Activate plugin from Plugins page

  3. Add a hidden field to your Gravity Form

  4. Go to the Advanced tab in the field settings and hit the down arrow to the right of the Default Value text box

  5. Scroll down to Custom and choose either Cookie Data, Server Data or Session Data

  6. Change the “key” text with the data you are looking for
