How to add Hootboard in Wordpress

HootBoard is a bulletin board for your community website. HootBoard works seamlessly across your website, mobile devices and screens in your building. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

To install correctly this hootboard.zip .
Fisrt Download the hootboard.zip to your computer
Extract/Open hootboard.zip to Your Computer.
Then, Find readme.txt file inside hootboard.zip and Open readme.txt .
Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

Step-1 : Download " hootboard.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " hootboard.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " hootboard.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Hootboard " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Hootboard " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Hootboard " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

Step-8 : Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about Hootboard Configurations and Settings or How to work " Hootboard " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
Then, Find " HootBoard " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is HootBoard
Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

This plugin automatically creates a Page with a HootBoard in it. Here’s a step by step video and instructions on how to setup the WP plugin. Install and activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in WP. Find the HootBoard plugin setting page in the WP menu on the left side of your browser window. If you already have a HootBoard, copy the link to the HootBoard in the text box that says “Enter the link to your community HootBoard” and hit Apply. If your community does not have a HootBoard, Click “Create One” and complete the steps at www.HootBoard.com. Copy and paste your board’s link in the text box & hit Apply. Customize your board to match the look and feel of your site. You can change the color and transparency. See the screenshots tab to see an example of this. Click Finish. The plugin will automatically add a Page to your WordPress Site called HootBoard. Now you can add HootBoard to your menu by going to Appearance > Menus. That’s it. You can post directly to HootBoard from your website and share your board for your community to follow or join your board.
