Display a breaking news banner for a selected amount of time anywhere on your site. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this jm-breaking-news.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the jm-breaking-news.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open jm-breaking-news.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside jm-breaking-news.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " jm-breaking-news.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " jm-breaking-news.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded jm-breaking-news.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " JM Breaking News " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " JM Breaking News " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " JM Breaking News " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  JM Breaking News Configurtions and Settings or How to work " JM Breaking News " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " JM Breaking News " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is JM Breaking News
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

To have WordPress download and install the plugin, go to the WordPress dashboard, click “Plugins”, click “Add New” and search for “JM Breaking News” and click “Install.” To manually download and install the plugin, download the plugin, either from the plugin site or the plugin’s page from the Plugin Directory. The in the WordPress dashboard, go to “Plugins” then “Add New” then “Upload Plugin” and upload the plugin’s zip file.

Once the plugin has been uploaded and activated, add the following code into your theme where you want it to be shown.

The banner has a width of 100%, so it will fit into any size container; however, the best use for the banner is to have it in the header.
