JSSpamBlock detects spam bots by sending a piece of JavaScript to the browser. This provides an effective and unobtrusive way to detect spam. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this jsspamblock.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the jsspamblock.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open jsspamblock.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside jsspamblock.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " jsspamblock.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " jsspamblock.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded jsspamblock.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " JSSpamBlock " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " JSSpamBlock " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " JSSpamBlock " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  JSSpamBlock Configurtions and Settings or How to work " JSSpamBlock " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " JSSpamBlock " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is JSSpamBlock
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

The following instructions are for a basic installation. If you are using WP-Cache or you want to use a log file, see further below for how to achieve this.

  1. Upload jsspamblock.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Try leaving a comment on one of your posts. If everything went properly, you won’t even notice a difference. Search the page’s source code for jsspamblock to make sure the code is included in the page. Please make sure you make a test comment to be sure it is working properly.
  4. If it didn’t work (your comment was unexpectedly blocked when it should not have been), it is likely that your template does not have the comment form hook. If this is the case, you will have to manually call JS Spam Block in the template. To do this, find the “comments.php” template file and find the comment form – look for and include the following just above it: .

Upgrading:

Replace the jsspamblock.php plugin file and update any settings you changed in the PHP file.
