How to add Just A Tweet in Wordpress

• To install correctly this just-a-tweet.zip .
• Fisrt Download the just-a-tweet.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open just-a-tweet.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside just-a-tweet.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " just-a-tweet.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " just-a-tweet.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " just-a-tweet.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Just A Tweet " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Just A Tweet " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Just A Tweet " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Just A Tweet " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Just A Tweet
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

1. Upload just-a-tweet to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. Place in your templates

The function just_a_tweet takes up to 4 parameters

$twitterUser – Required – The name of the Twitter user you want to request

$cacheAge – Optional – Number of minutes after which the cache is considered stale. Defaults to 5

$forceRefresh – Optional – If true then the cache is not used, although it is
still filled. Defaults to false

$echo – Optional – Whether the function should also echo out the HTML built. Either
way the HTML is returned. Defaults to true

Using the shortcode

There is also a shortcode just_a_tweet that you can use inside your posts and pages.

[ just_a_tweet twitteruser=yourtwitter ] will pull the most recent tweet from
whatever Twitter account you pass as yourtwitter .
