Quickly and efficiently create a highly-flexible knowledge base or FAQ on your WordPress blog. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this knowledgebase.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the knowledgebase.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open knowledgebase.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside knowledgebase.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " knowledgebase.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " knowledgebase.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded knowledgebase.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Knowledge Base " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Knowledge Base " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Knowledge Base " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Knowledge Base Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Knowledge Base " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Knowledge Base " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Knowledge Base
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

WordPress install (The easy way)

  1. Navigate to “Plugins” within your WordPress Admin Area
  2. Click “Add new” and in the search box enter “Knowledgebase” or “Knowledge Base”
  3. Find the plugin in the list (usually the first result) and click “Install Now”
  4. Activate or Network activate the Plugin in WP-Admin under the Plugins screen

Manual install

  1. Download the plugin
  2. Extract the contents of knowledgebase.zip to wp-content/plugins/ folder. You should get a folder called knowledgebase.
  3. Activate or Network activate the Plugin in WP-Admin under the Plugins screen

Usage

  1. Visit Knowledge Base » Sections to add new categories to the knowledge base. Alternatively, you can add new categories from the meta box
  2. Visit Knowledge Base » Add New to add new Articles to the knowledge base. You can select a section from there while adding
  3. Create a new page or edit an existing one and add the shortcode [knowledgebase] to set up this page to display the knowledgebase

The plugin supports unlimited levels of category hierarchy. However, the recommended setting for creating the knowledge base is to create a top level category with the name of the knowledge base and sub-level categories for each section of this knowledge base. Check out the Category view screenshot as an example.
