LeadSource Tracker is a simple campaign and marketing attribution that tracks multiple lead sources per visitor. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this leadsource-tracker.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the leadsource-tracker.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open leadsource-tracker.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside leadsource-tracker.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " leadsource-tracker.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " leadsource-tracker.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded leadsource-tracker.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " LeadSource Tracker – Free Edition " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " LeadSource Tracker – Free Edition " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " LeadSource Tracker – Free Edition " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  LeadSource Tracker – Free Edition Configurtions and Settings or How to work " LeadSource Tracker – Free Edition " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " LeadSource Tracker – Free Edition " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is LeadSource Tracker – Free Edition
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

  1. Upload leadsourcetracker.free.php to the /wp-content/plugins/leadsourcetracker directory (Make the directory first)

  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

  3. Go to Settings-> LeadSource Tracker and select the page where the lead sources should be retrieved as GET parameters – this is the page where all your campaign parameters will show up as ldsrc_0 and ldsrc_n, where ldsrc_0 is the first campaign, and ldsrc_n is the last campaign that the visitor came through before registering.

  4. Populate ldsrc_0 and/or ldsrc_n into your forms through hidden fields so that they may be stored in your CRM system for reporting.

  5. Append ?ldsrc=[Campaign Name] to all your landing pages e.g. www.mywebsite.com/product9/?ldsrc=twitter_ads
