A plugin that allows administrator to set Google Calendar embedded link in admin back-end and use shortcode to place on a page, post or sidebar. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this link-google-calendar.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the link-google-calendar.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open link-google-calendar.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside link-google-calendar.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " link-google-calendar.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " link-google-calendar.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded link-google-calendar.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Link Google Calendar " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Link Google Calendar " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Link Google Calendar " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Link Google Calendar " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Link Google Calendar
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
1. Download and install the plugin from WordPress dashboard. You can also upload the entire “link-google-calendar” folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. You should see a Link Google Calendar Admin Menu Link in the Admin Menu. Click here to go to the Settings Page.
4. Here you would place your Embedded Google Calendar Link in the text area and then click the save button.
5. You would get your Calendar from your Google Account. For information on how to create your Google Calendar and how to get
your Embedded Google Calendar Link, go to https://hyperdrivedesigns.com/free-plugins/google-calendar-link-plugin/ .
6. Use the following shortcode [lgc] to place the calendar in your page, post or a text widget.
