Just a silly project to see if I can create WordPress plug-ins. It displays a list of GitHub repositories or the README.md of a single repository. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this list-github-repositories.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the list-github-repositories.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open list-github-repositories.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside list-github-repositories.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " list-github-repositories.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " list-github-repositories.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded list-github-repositories.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " GitHub Repositories " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " GitHub Repositories " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " GitHub Repositories " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  GitHub Repositories Configurtions and Settings or How to work " GitHub Repositories " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " GitHub Repositories " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is GitHub Repositories
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Installing “GitHub Repositories” can be done either by searching for “GitHub Repositories” via the “Plugins > Add New” screen in your WordPress dashboard, or by using the following steps:

  1. Download the plugin via WordPress.org
  2. Upload the ZIP file through the ‘Plugins > Add New > Upload’ screen in your WordPress dashboard
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
