Just a silly project to see if I can create WordPress plug-ins. It displays a list of GitHub repositories or the README.md of a single repository.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this list-github-repositories.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the list-github-repositories.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open list-github-repositories.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside list-github-repositories.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "list-github-repositories.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "list-github-repositories.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded list-github-repositories.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "GitHub Repositories" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "GitHub Repositories" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "GitHub Repositories" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about GitHub Repositories Configurtions and Settings or How to work "GitHub Repositories" in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "GitHub Repositories" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is GitHub Repositories
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide

Installing “GitHub Repositories” can be done either by searching for “GitHub Repositories” via the “Plugins > Add New” screen in your WordPress dashboard, or by using the following steps:

  1. Download the plugin via WordPress.org
  2. Upload the ZIP file through the ‘Plugins > Add New > Upload’ screen in your WordPress dashboard
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
