Live Blogging is a plugin that allows you to insert micro/live blogs into posts with automatic updating of the content. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this live-blogging-plus.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the live-blogging-plus.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open live-blogging-plus.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside live-blogging-plus.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " live-blogging-plus.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " live-blogging-plus.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded live-blogging-plus.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Live Blogging Plus " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Live Blogging Plus " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Live Blogging Plus " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Live Blogging Plus Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Live Blogging Plus " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Live Blogging Plus " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Live Blogging Plus
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Live Blogging v2, like version 1, requires PHP version 5.2 and WordPress 4.4 or later. Please make sure you have these before you attempt to use the plugin. If you get errors whilst activating, it is likely that you are using a version of PHP before version 5.2.

Live Blogging is installed and activated as per normal plugins. Once it has been activated, please read the FAQ about how to use it.

Once you have installed Live Blogging, then it is most sensible to proceed to
the Live Blogging settings, which is included in your ‘Settings’ panel in the
admin area as ‘Live Blogging’. From here, you can enable functionality such as
posting to Twitter, changing the method used for live blog updating and
customising the style of the live blog entries.

If you have installed a Meteor server and intend to use it to stream updates,
you must also enter your Meteor server details and set the live blog update
method to ‘Stream using Meteor’.
