Noted That:
  • To install correctly this map-my-posts.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the map-my-posts.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open map-my-posts.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside map-my-posts.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.
Start the Tips:

Step-1 : Download " map-my-posts.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " map-my-posts.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " map-my-posts.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Activate Map My Posts

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Map My Posts " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Map My Posts " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Map My Posts " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

Step-8 : Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about Map My Posts Configurations and Settings or How to work " Map My Posts " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Map My Posts " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Map My Posts
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Requirements

  • WordPress 3.0 or higher
  • PHP 5.1.2 or higher
  1. Download Map My Posts to /wp-content/plugins/ directory and activate plugin.
  2. Go to the Map My Posts Settings Menu and enter Google API Key and specify defaults.
    • There is a courtesy limit of 25,000 Google Maps, Geocoding API, and Google Static Map requests per day. Google API keys are available through the APIs console
  3. Under Posts-> Categories or Posts-> Tags, associate your existing taxonomy with locations. You can also add new categories or tags with locations for Map My Posts in this area.
  4. Add one of the Map My Posts widgets to the sidebar, if desired.
  5. Edit a post or page and add a Map My Posts shortcode.
