Noted That:

  • To install correctly this miniorange-2-factor-authentication.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the miniorange-2-factor-authentication.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open miniorange-2-factor-authentication.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside miniorange-2-factor-authentication.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "miniorange-2-factor-authentication.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "miniorange-2-factor-authentication.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded miniorange-2-factor-authentication.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "Google Authenticator – WordPress Two Factor Authentication (2FA , MFA)" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "Google Authenticator – WordPress Two Factor Authentication (2FA , MFA)" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "Google Authenticator – WordPress Two Factor Authentication (2FA , MFA)" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "Google Authenticator – WordPress Two Factor Authentication (2FA , MFA)" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is Google Authenticator – WordPress Two Factor Authentication (2FA , MFA)
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide

From your WordPress dashboard

  1. Navigate to Plugins > Add New from your WP Admin dashboard.
  2. Search for miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication.
  3. Install miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication and Activate the plugin.

From WordPress.org

  1. Search for miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication and download it.
  2. Unzip and upload the miniorange-2-factor-authentication directory to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication from the Plugins tab of your admin dashboard.

Once Activated

  1. Select miniOrange 2-Factor ( 2 factor authentication ) from the left menu and follow the instructions.
  2. Once, you complete your setup. Click on Log Out button.
  3. Enter the username and password. After the initial validation, you will be prompted for the 2-factor method you had set up.
  4. Validate yourself with the 2-factor authentication method you configured.
