A simple widget that displays only the most recent tweet from multiple accounts. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this multi-twitter-widget.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the multi-twitter-widget.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open multi-twitter-widget.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside multi-twitter-widget.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " multi-twitter-widget.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " multi-twitter-widget.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded multi-twitter-widget.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Multi Twitter Stream " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Multi Twitter Stream " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Multi Twitter Stream " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Multi Twitter Stream Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Multi Twitter Stream " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Multi Twitter Stream " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Multi Twitter Stream
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Estimated Time: 10 minutes

  1. Upload the ‘widget-twitter’ folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder on your site
  2. In WP-Admin, you should see ‘Multi Twitter Widget’ listed as an inactive plugin. Click the link to activate it.
  3. Once activated, go to Appearance > Widgets and Drop the Widget into your preferred sidebar
  4. You will need oauth credentials for twitter, which means you’ll have to create an app on https://dev.twitter.com/apps to get these credentials. Defaults have been provided, but there is no guarantee they will work long term.
  5. Once you’ve dropped in the widget, enter twitter handles (space separated) and click save.
