Noted That:

  • To install correctly this mylinks.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the mylinks.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open mylinks.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside mylinks.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " mylinks.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " mylinks.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded mylinks.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " WordPress MyLinks – The link directory with automatical thumbnail generation " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " WordPress MyLinks – The link directory with automatical thumbnail generation " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " WordPress MyLinks – The link directory with automatical thumbnail generation " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  WordPress MyLinks – The link directory with automatical thumbnail generation Configurtions and Settings or How to work " WordPress MyLinks – The link directory with automatical thumbnail generation " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " WordPress MyLinks – The link directory with automatical thumbnail generation " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is WordPress MyLinks – The link directory with automatical thumbnail generation
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

  1. Upload the mylinks plugin directory, along with its contents, to your
    worpress plugins directory: /wp-content/plugins/ .
  2. Activate the plugin and follow the instructions in the description.
  3. Example: Use [mylinks] in your page or post to display all your links
  4. Example: [mylinks=categoryname] to display just the links of the category categoryname in your page or post
  5. Example: [thumb]http://www.your-homepage.com[/thumb] to display just one thumbnail in your page or post of the website http://www.your-homepage.com
  6. Thats it ???? You just have to update your wordpress links.

You also can change the layout:
Just change the templates in the templates subdirectory of the mylinks-plugin: all_links.html is the template for displaying all links and one_category.html is the template for displaying just one category.
