Show recent post in widget area so the widget title/content itself is given post title and contents. You can choose queue which post to show from recent posts or just give specific ID. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this one-post-widget.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the one-post-widget.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open one-post-widget.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside one-post-widget.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " one-post-widget.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " one-post-widget.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded one-post-widget.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " One post widget " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " One post widget " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " One post widget " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " One post widget " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is One post widget
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

The “One post widget” can be installed and activated in 4 easy steps:


1. Unzip "one-post-widget" archive and upload extracted folder named "one-post-widget" into your "plugins" folder (/wp-content/plugins/)
2. Activate the plugin under "Plugins" menu in admin area by clicking on "Activate" for the "One post widget" plugin.
3. Add "One post widget" widget into sidebar in themes menu, add options and you are set.
4. Now sidebar on public side should show your selected content
