How to add Opensearchserver Search in Wordpress

• To install correctly this opensearchserver-search.zip .
• Fisrt Download the opensearchserver-search.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open opensearchserver-search.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside opensearchserver-search.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " opensearchserver-search.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " opensearchserver-search.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " opensearchserver-search.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Opensearchserver Search " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Opensearchserver Search " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Opensearchserver Search " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

3. Then, Find " OpenSearchServer Search " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is OpenSearchServer Search
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Requirements

• WordPress 3.0.1 or higher
• A running instance of OpenSearchServer 1.3 or higher (OpenSearchServer 1.5.11 is required for searching into attachments)

Installing the plugin

3. Activate the OpenSearchServer Search plugin via WordPress settings.
4. Open the OpenSearchServer settings page (in the Plugins menu) and fill the form with your desired settings
5. Choose the types of content and the taxonomies to index, save your Index Settings.
6. Create your index by clicking on the “(Re-)Create the index” button
7. New and modified content from WordPress can be pushed into your newly created index by clicking the “Synchronize / Re-index” button.
