How to add Page Listing Categories in Wordpress

• To install correctly this page-listing-categories.zip .
• Fisrt Download the page-listing-categories.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open page-listing-categories.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside page-listing-categories.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " page-listing-categories.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " page-listing-categories.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " page-listing-categories.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Page Listing Categories " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Page Listing Categories " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Page Listing Categories " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Page Listing Categories " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Page Listing Categories
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

1. Upload the plugin files to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/page-listing-categories’ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
3. Use the shortcode or the widget everywhere you want.

Shortcode usage:

Just place the shortcode [categories] in any page or post.

You can add the following filters:

• orderby (id, name, slug, count, term group)
• order (asc, desc)
• hide_empty (0, 1)
• show_subcategories (0,1)
• exclude (ID1, ID2, …)

Note: 0 means “No”, 1 means “Yes”.

Example: [categories orderby=”slug” order = ?asc? hide_empty=1 show_subcategories=1 exclude=?3324?]

Tip: You can get the category ID by entering the wordpress admin area, once there go to Products > Categories and click on the category you want to see the ID.
Once the page loads find the ID as a parameter in the URL.
