Noted That:

  • To install correctly this postlists.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the postlists.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open postlists.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside postlists.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " postlists.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " postlists.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded postlists.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " PostLists " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " PostLists " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " PostLists " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " PostLists " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is PostLists
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide
  1. Upload the folder ‘postlists’ with all files to ‘/wp-content/plugins’ on your webserver
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to “Manage” and then to the new submenu “PostLists” to manage your placeholders and lists

Add a list of posts to a post, page or widget:
– Type one or more of your placeholders in the content of a post, page or textwidget (exactly the way you wrote it)
– View the page/post/widget: the placeholder you typed in, will be replaced to the list you configured
Add a list of posts to a template file:
– Add the following code (replace MYPLACEHOLDER to the placeholder of the list to insert) at the position you like to have the list of posts:


 
 

Examples:
After first activation of the plugin some examples have been created. To see PostLists working just create a new post and add one of the following example placeholders:

Now save and view your post to see it working…
This example placeholders can be removed in the postlists admin menu.
