WordPress plugin for the prism js syntax highlighter. This is not a spying program! Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this prism-wp.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the prism-wp.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open prism-wp.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside prism-wp.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " prism-wp.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " prism-wp.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded prism-wp.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Prism WP " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Prism WP " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Prism WP " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Prism WP Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Prism WP " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Prism WP " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Prism WP
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Install via WordPress Admin

  1. Ready the zip file of the plugin
  2. Go to Admin > Plugins > Add New
  3. On the upper portion click the Upload link
  4. Using the file upload field, upload the plugin zip file here and activate the plugin

Install via FTP

  1. First unzip the plugin file
  2. Using FTP go to your server’s wp-content/plugins directory
  3. Upload the unzipped plugin here
  4. Once finished login into your WP Admin and go to Admin > Plugins
  5. Look for Prism WP and activate it

Usage

  1. Choose the language you want to use and appearance in Admin > Settings > Prism WP.
  2. Inside your post (or page) content editor, click the Text tab.
  3. Wrap your code inside ‘
    ’ tags.
  4. Example to display a PHP code:
