How to add Recent Posts Slider in Wordpress

• To install correctly this recent-posts-slider.zip .
• Fisrt Download the recent-posts-slider.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open recent-posts-slider.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside recent-posts-slider.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " recent-posts-slider.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " recent-posts-slider.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " recent-posts-slider.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Recent Posts Slider " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Recent Posts Slider " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Recent Posts Slider " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Recent Posts Slider " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Recent Posts Slider
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Installation

1. You can use the built-in installer.

   OR

   Download the zip file and extract the contents.

   Upload the ‘recent-posts-slider’ folder to your plugins directory (wp-content/plugins/).

2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

Now go to Settings and then Recent Posts Slider to configure any options as desired.

How to use

In order to display the recent posts slider, you have three options

1. Simply place in your theme or use rps_show( $category_ids, $total_posts, $post_include_ids, $post_exclude_ids ) to have different slider on differet pages;

2. Add the shortcode simply ‘[rps]’ or ‘[rps category_ids=”2,3? total_posts=”2? post_include_ids=”1? post_exclude_ids=”2?]’.
