How to add Recommendations Tastedive in Wordpress

• To install correctly this recommendations-tastedive.zip .
• Fisrt Download the recommendations-tastedive.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open recommendations-tastedive.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside recommendations-tastedive.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " recommendations-tastedive.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " recommendations-tastedive.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " recommendations-tastedive.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Recommendations Tastedive " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Recommendations Tastedive " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Recommendations Tastedive " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Recommendations TasteDive " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Recommendations TasteDive
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

You will need an API key from TasteDive to use this plugin.

1. Create an account on TasteDive: https://tastedive.com/account/signup
2. Request an API access key: https://tastedive.com/account/api_access
3. In your admin dashboard, go to Settings -> TasteDive, and set the API key.
4. You can also modify the other settings to your taste.

To insert recommendations into your post or page:

1. Use the shortcode as follows: [tastedive search=”the name”]
2. You can also set the following shortcode attributes: count and type .
3. Count is the number of recommendations to display. Type is the type of results to return (default if not set is all); you can see the options for this attribute at: https://tastedive.com/read/api
