Adds a shortcode to restrict content from anonymous users.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this restrict-anonymous-access.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the restrict-anonymous-access.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open restrict-anonymous-access.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside restrict-anonymous-access.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "restrict-anonymous-access.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "restrict-anonymous-access.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded restrict-anonymous-access.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "Restrict Anonymous Access" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "Restrict Anonymous Access" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "Restrict Anonymous Access" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "Restrict Anonymous Access" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is Restrict Anonymous Access
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide
  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/restrict-anonymous-access directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Use the shortcode [member][/member] in any post, page or custom post type in order to hide content from anonymous users. Important: Please use “Classic” block element if you are using Gutenberg.
  4. Optional parameters are showinfo="0" to hide the info message, infotext="Your custom info for anons." and class="my-custom-css-class" for adding CSS class to the info box.
  5. Use parameter role="[subscriber|contributor|author|editor|admin|your-custom-role]", e.g. role="editor" to hide content from users below editor capabilities.
